	The Hypnotism Society of Pennsylvania is America's oldest established hypnotism society. The Society was founded in 1943 and continues to thrive to this day.   We are a chapter of the National Guild of Hypnotists. It is our goal to promote and teach the public about the benefits of hypnosis as well as provide an open forum for a free exchange of ideas concerning hypnosis. The Hypnotism Society of Pennsylvania is made up of three chapters:  Pittsburgh, Philladelphia and Bucks County. Hypnotists and students of hypnosis are welcome to attend our meetings.  Grow by learning and sharing your experience with others. We Do What  Works Everyone is different and hypnosis should be different for everyone.  Your hypnotist will ask you about when, where and how your problem occurs and help you understand a little more about why.  Then sessions are personalized to your needs to ensure your success.  Our hypnotists are skilled in many different types of hypnosis, NLP, EFT and other behavior modification strategies. You are in Control You are always in control.  Hypnosis is completely relaxing and usually people are completely aware of their surroundings.  It's a myth that someone is making you do something.  Actually, your hypnotist is putting You in control.  Hypnosis restores your freedom of choice where you haven't had it before...perhaps in years!
